Chapters serve Butterflies and Dragonflies ages 5 to 18. Not every chapter is co-ed \u2014 though all BEP activities and Arches are open across the organization. Younger members find role models; older members discover what it means to be one. The Shinnecock Chapter is co-ed and exclusively for members of the Shinnecock Nation.<\/p><p>As participants grow, they take on real responsibility: leading meetings, planning events, settling conflicts, mentoring the little ones. Every session works from BEP&#8217;s curriculum \u2014 aligned with New York State benchmarks and built on the Four Pillars: Healthy Relationships, Self &amp; Community Care, Critical Thinking, and Confidence Building \u2014 but no two chapters run the same, because no two communities are the same.<\/p><p>School chapters meet weekly during the school day, with a curriculum adapted for the classroom. <a class=\"arrow-link\" href=\"\/for-schools\/\">Bring a chapter to your school \u2192<\/a><\/p><div class=\"brand-chip\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bepgirls.org\/wp-content\/themes\/bep-theme\/assets\/images\/dragonfly-chapter.png\" alt=\"The Dragonfly Chapter logo\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><span><b>Home of the Butterfly &amp; Dragonfly Chapters.<\/b> Every chapter welcomes both \u2014 Butterflies leading the way since 2014, Dragonflies right beside them since the community asked.<\/span><\/div><p style=\"margin-top:8px\">There&#8217;s also a shirt.
